We are proud to be the only studio in the area with professionally installed sprung and raised floors—the same kind used by top ballet companies and universities. These floors are designed to absorb shock and reduce impact, protecting growing joints from the long-term damage that can result from dancing on hard surfaces like concrete or laminate.
Why it matters:
Other studios may overlook this crucial detail, but we prioritize your child’s health and future in dance.
Unlike many studios, we do not offer combo classes (e.g., ballet/tap or jazz/hip hop in one session). Why? Because we believe that young dancers deserve focused instruction in each genre to truly grow.
Why we avoid combo classes:
Instead, we offer genre-specific classes that maximize your child’s time in the studio and ensure they’re building strong foundations in each style.
Our instructors are not just passionate dancers—they’re experienced educators with degrees in dance and professional performance backgrounds with over 125+ of combined teaching years. This means your child is learning from people who understand both the art and the science of movement.
What sets our faculty apart:
While we love a great recital, our classes are designed to teach real dance technique, not just a routine for the stage. We focus on building strong foundations in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and more—so your child grows as a dancer, not just a performer.
Our curriculum includes:
"We have been very impressed with the level of professionalism at this studio. Carrie(the owner) is extremely dedicated, caring, cost-conscious, and a number of other adjectives I can't think of right now - but they're all positive! Our daughter went to a summer class, saying she would just take the class, but wouldn't take classes in the fall. A few days in, she said she would take classes in the fall, but would not join the team. A week later, she wants to be on the team, has made tons of friends, and is really loving the supportive, drama-free, talented, and professional faculty and students.
I didn't think our daughter would ever want to do competition team dance again. It took the CDC family to revive her interest, and passion for dance.
There are flashier studios. There are prettier, newer studios. There are louder, more publicized studios. But, I don't think there is a studio that balances health, safety, fitness, dance fundamentals, and joy like CDC does."

"CDC has provided an incredible experience, not just for our girls, but for our entire
family! When we first enrolled, our daughters were hesitant and not very interested in participating in classes. Now, they absolutely love dance and look forward to class every single
week.
The year-end recitals deserve a special shoutout. They’re truly next level. I’ve sat
through other dance recitals that felt endless and unorganized, but CDC’s recital was a total game changer. From our very first one, we were blown away. It’s well-timed, professionally run, lasts
about an hour, and the performances are genuinely impressive. I actually get excited to attend and if they offered adult classes, I’d sign up in a heartbeat! If I could give 100 stars, I would. We absolutely love CDC!"
