Welcome to Delirium Dance Company at Chesterfield Dance Center

Training Requirements

At the Chesterfield Dance Center, the dELIRIUM Dance Company maintains rigorous standards to ensure our dancers achieve excellence. Dancers in the dELIRIUM company are required to partake in comprehensive dance training each season. This includes a minimum of one jazz technique class, two ballet technique classes, one tap technique class, one modern dance technique class, conditioning, and an additional technique class of their choice. For those selected to perform in diverse genres, the respective dance classes are also mandatory.

For our younger team participants, the requirements are well-rounded but slightly adjusted. They must attend one jazz technique class, two ballet technique classes (where applicable), one tap technique class, one modern class (for ages nine and up), and one conditioning class. Additional dance studio offerings are recommended to fully unleash their dance lessons potential.

dELIRIUM dance company is selected through auditions held in June, ensuring we recruit the finest talent.

pREP Team Selection

The pREP team welcomes dancers through faculty recommendations. Participants are required to engage in one ballet class, one jazz class, and one tap class each season, which includes summer sessions.
