contemporary one
ages 7-12
prerequisite: at least 2 years of Ballet training.
Instructor: Cat Faszewski
Contemporary is a form of dance that fuses modern, jazz, and ballet techniques and conveys the emotion of a song through the body's movements. In this class, students will focus on continuation of movement, connectivity to movement, emotional connection to movements and flexibility. This is a highly technical class and is not recommended to students who are in less than two classes per week. Ballet is required with this class.
contemporary 2
ages 8-14
prerequisite: at least 3 years of formal dance training and permission of instructor
Instructor: Cat Faszewski
In this class, students will continue to focus on continuation of movement, connectivity to movement, emotional connection to movements and flexibility. This is a highly technical class and is not recommended to students who are in less than two classes per week. Ballet is required with this class.
contemporary III
ages 10-15
prerequisite: at least 5 years of formal dance training & permission of instructor.
Instructor: Cat Faszewski
In this level, students will continue to focus on fluidity of movement, timing, and technique while exploring the underlying intention and meaning behind the movement and the music. This is a highly technical class and is not recommended to students who are in less than two classes per week.
Ballet is required with this class.

prerequisite: permission of instructor. ONLY
Instructor: Cat Faszewski
In this level, students will be challenged to explore the underlying intention and meaning of movement while working on interpreting music and expressing emotions. This class is for mature dancers that are ready to find an open and honest connection to movement and incorporate this into their dancing. Ballet is required with this class.
ePIC contemporary
ages 12-18
prerequisite: permission of instructor ONLY
Instructor: Miguel Perez
In this level, students will be challenged to explore the underlying intention and meaning of movement while working on interpreting music and expressing emotions. This class is for mature dancers that are ready to find an open and honest connection to movement and incorporate this into their dancing. Ballet is required with this class. Class is two hours in the Fall/Spring 2025-2026 season.
Some classes may be combined in summer sessions.
