It is important to remember, as an audience member, that this show is ALL ABOUT THE DANCERS! They have worked very hard all year to be able to perform for you, so please do not be disrespectful and rude. Below is a list of proper behavior for attending any dance performance: -Flash photography is PROHIBITED! The flash can blind the dancers and cause injury -NO VIDEOTAPING! The show is being videotaped professionally -Entering and exiting the theater is only permitted IN BETWEEN numbers! This will be strictly enforced this year. It is not only rude, it is a distraction to the dancers by letting light into an otherwise dark theater. You will be asked to leave if you cannot follow this rule. -NO CELL PHONES OR PAGING DEVICES! Enough said. -NO Food or Drink in the theater -NO talking during the performance -CLAP if you like something...even if it isn't your child. The dancers may not be able to see you, but they can hear you! It encourages them to dance even harder when they get positive feedback from the audience. -NO dancers in costume allowed in the theater! Dancers may come in the theater with a ticket and their costume covered or removed. Dress Rehearsal Schedule, Friday, May 21st Collegiate School Please be at Collegiate, dressed and ready to dance, 15 minutes before your scheduled time slot. It is an open dress rehearsal, so dancers may sit in the theater and watch the other classes perform while they are waiting for their turn. Make-up isn't necessary for rehearsal, but hair should be fixed how it will be for the show, and you should be dressed in FULL costume. Any hair pieces, etc. should be worn in order to be sure they will stay in place for the actual show.
